MGT Power develops large scale biomass projects. We are currently developing a plant in Teesside and another at Tyne, both highly efficient 300MWe bio-power plants.

As professionals who have been in the biomass industry for over a decade we have often felt biomass is the neglected and misunderstood renewable energy, and its potential woefully underestimated.

In this blog we hope to set right some of these misconceptions (for there are many), provide news and updates on our projects and engage with anyone who is interested in this subject.
